Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

This is the county's own concession. The Quarry Park permits page: "Active Military and Veterans with Service-Connected Disability may receive a free daily or one annual vehicle parking permit. A qualifying Military ID card or VAMC Health Card with Service Connected under the photo must be provided." What it saves. A vehicle parking permit is required at Quarry Park; walkers and cyclists enter free. The annual permit is $25, valid for a year from the month of purchase; a daily permit is $5 from Labor Day to Memorial Day and $10 from Memorial Day to Labor Day; failing to buy one is a $15 violation. Permits are sold at the Quarry Park gatehouse, the Park Office outside the park, the online recreation catalogue and the Stearns County license centers in downtown St. Cloud and Waite Park. The Veteran Services benefits page points veterans to the same permit through Stearns County Parks.
