Among the office's duties the Recorder's page lists: "File Military discharges (DD214) & provide copies at no charge." Its recording fee ($26 the first page and $3 each further page, with a $25 non-standard fee) and its notice of the $2 statewide increase under SB 938 from August 28, 2026 are for land records, not discharges.
