Rappahannock Regional Veterans Treatment Court

A regional circuit court treatment docket for justice-involved veterans that sits in the Spotsylvania Circuit Court. It is not a general disability benefit.

Also called: veterans court, treatment docket, criminal justice.

For: Veteran or service member.

Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The Virginia courts' May 2026 directory of veterans treatment dockets lists the Rappahannock Regional Veterans Treatment Court in the Spotsylvania Circuit Court at the Judicial Center Lane courthouse, sitting on Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. The directory gives a contact at the Rappahannock Regional Jail but does not list which localities' cases the regional docket takes, so a veteran charged elsewhere in the region should ask through counsel. A veterans treatment docket is a supervised treatment track for a veteran charged with an offense, entered through the court. It is not a tax break or a benefit a veteran applies for outside a criminal case.
