The record. The county posts the Commissioners Court's agendas and signed minutes on its Agendas & Minutes page, and the County Clerk keeps a searchable minutes archive; the agendas of January 14, 2025 through October 27, 2026 (35 of the 41 posted; six early-2025 links answer 404) and the 47 minutes of November 26, 2024 through October 13, 2026 (scans) were read whole, and the archive's full-text search for 2024 to 2026 finds no minutes with "veteran", "VSO", "service officer" or the officer's name. The Court meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays and sits as County Judge Jeff Boyd and Commissioners Adam Sharp, Daniel Holman, Joey Holloway and Steve Bryan. What the year shows. No agenda or minutes names veterans, the veterans officer, an agreement with Shelby County, a Veterans Day proclamation, juror donations to veterans or a veterans grant. The FY2026-27 final budget, its cover dated September 22, 2026 with all four commissioners for it, leaves the "Veterans Office Expense" line at nothing (see the county's veterans entry). No veteran benefit was adopted, narrowed or repealed on the record read.
