Location: Salem County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 719 Route 45, Pilesgrove. County Veterans Dept. Flag Raising Ceremony followed by the VFW Post 253 Annual Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony. Lowering Flags - Sunrise, Raising Flags - Noon." The donations trust. Resolution 2025-514 "Amend[ed] Resolution 2015-270 Requesting Approval by The Director of The Division of Local Government Services to Amend The Dedicated Trust by Rider for Veterans Cemetery Donations Pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:5-29" - the county maintains a dedicated trust for cemetery donations. The county's pages make no reference to the state's BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery: this is Salem County's own burial ground.
