How the county funds it. The office is General Fund department 010-405, "County Veterans' Service". The 2027 proposed budget (work version of August 13, 2026) shows the 2026 budget at $116,728 and the 2027 request at $122,817, against actual spending of $102,917.01 in 2025 and $95,816.89 in 2024. The officer's salary is $46,449 for 2026 (requested $48,450 for 2027), with longevity, an interpreter line ($4,030), $2,100 for office supplies, $1,000 for telephone, $2,800 for conferences and $25,000 for "TRAVEL V.A." each year. A separate fund carries a $100 Veterans Service Office supplies line (020-495-310). The 2027 approved column was blank in the posted proposal, and the approved 2027 budget was not yet posted at the read. The Court's record.
