Pulaski County Collector: Disabled Veteran Property Tax Exemption

The disabled veteran homestead and personal property exemption under section 26-3-306 is claimed at the Pulaski County collector; the county's tax-payment site answers to a Cloudflare challenge, so no county application text could be read.

Also called: property tax, collector, DAV exemption, 26-3-306, homestead, personal property.

For: Veteran or service member, child, survivor.

Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The exemption is the State's, under section 26-3-306: a disabled veteran awarded special monthly compensation for loss or loss of use of a limb, total blindness, or a 100 percent service-connected total and permanent disability is exempt from all state taxes on the homestead and personal property, and an unremarried surviving spouse and minor children keep it. The Department of Veterans Affairs' property tax guide directs claimants to the local county collector's office. What could not be read. Pulaski County's site carries no collector page of its own and sends tax payment to the county treasurer's site, pulaskicountytreasurer.net, which serves a Cloudflare challenge to every automated fetch. No county application text is recorded here. A Pulaski claimant should call the county treasurer's office and ask what the collector wants, taking the VA summary of benefits letter; the State entries carry the rest.
