Porter County's page: "To assist veterans and their eligible family member to apply and receive all rightful veterans' state and federal entitlements." "There is no charge for any of their services." It lists claims for disability compensation and for pensions, applications for VA health care, retrieving discharge papers and service and medical records, and "Filing for eligibility benefits for Funeral/Burial".
