Where it applies

The homestead exemption is the State's; see the Ohio entry on Revised Code 323.151, 323.1511 and 323.152 for the amounts, the income test and the veteran's increased credit. What the county's Auditor adds is the route, read from the office's own forms pages - the live site (auditor.pickawaycountyohio.gov) answers a Cloudflare challenge to every automated fetch, so the text here is the Internet Archive's capture of October 22, 2021, which names the same forms. The archived Homestead forms page lists, under Applications: the "Certificate of Disability for the Homestead Exemption" (the DTE 105E), the "Homestead Exemption Application for Disabled Veterans and Surviving Spouses" (the DTE 105I) and the "Homestead Exemption Application for Senior Citizens, Disabled Persons and Surviving Spouses" (the DTE 105A). Its Homestead Exemption information page sets the window: "Applications must be filed between the first Monday in January and the last day of December." The veteran's increased credit: the DTE 105I is for the honorably discharged veteran with a total disability rating (100%) or a total disability rating for compensation (100%) based on individual unemployability, the HB 85 increase the State entry describes; the certificate of disability (DTE 105E) is signed by an Ohio doctor or a state or federal agency, a VA award letter serving with it. Where. Pickaway County Auditor, 110 Island Road, Suite F, Circleville, Ohio 43113. The Auditor is Brad Washburn; the office is the county's chief fiscal office, and the homestead applications are taken at the counter, with the DTE forms on the office's Forms page under its Applications section. The county's Auditor page (pickawaycountyohio.gov/offices/auditor/) describes the office's fiscal duties and links the Auditor's own site.
