"The Parker County Veterans Service Office, appointed by the Parker County Commissioners Court, exists to assist veterans, surviving spouses, and families in applying for available benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs."

Disability compensation; non-service-connected pension; dependency and indemnity compensation; widow's death pension; aid and attendance and housebound claims; VA health care; education, "to include Hazelwood"; insurance; home loans; veterans nursing homes; military records and discharge upgrades; appeals and debt waivers; Texas Veterans Commission programmes; "Property Tax Exemptions for Disabled Veterans"; and referrals.
Where. 1112 Santa Fe Drive, Weatherford, TX 76086; 817-598-6153; Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. "Appointments are not required. The Veterans Officer is available to make home visits to housebound applicants." The Veterans Service Officer is John Hale, who reports to the Commissioners Court quarterly; in February 2026 the Court bought Panoramic Software's VetPro so the office can file claims electronically and serve veterans remotely.
Jury pay. Jurors can donate their pay through the Juror Access site, and Parker County Veteran's Services is on the list of charities.
