The Recorder's page: "The Recorder of Deeds issues marriage licenses and records real estate transfers, deeds of trust, power of attorney, surveys, tax liens and military discharges." Its fee list (cash or check only) prices land pages at $26 and $3, plats, surveys, marriage licences ($48), copies at 50 cents a page and $2 certifications, and has no line for a discharge, which the statute keeps free; copies go only to the veteran or an authorized party on the Recorders Association of Missouri's notarized request, and the page posts no form, so call the office.
