Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

NYC Parks sells a recreation centre membership that covers all of its centres, including indoor pools, fitness rooms and sports programmes. Veterans pay the same $25 a year as seniors 62 and over and people with disabilities; adults 25 to 61 pay $150, or $100 for centres without a pool, and anyone under 25 joins free. Instructor-led classes can cost extra. How to enroll as a veteran. Bring the registration form and payment to any recreation centre with a government-issued photo ID and one of: a DD-214, an NGB-22, a retired military ID (DD-2 RET) or a VA Veteran Health Identification Card. An IDNYC card or a State driver's licence or non-driver ID showing the veteran designation counts as both the photo ID and the proof. A veteran with a VA disability letter can also enroll on the people with disabilities rate, which is the same $25. No veteran rate was found for City golf courses or tennis permits.
