Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The department's own list. The Your Benefits Representative page lists Region 8: Kelly Warren, 502-229-6070, [email protected], and Cameron Polk, 502-356-1551, [email protected], each serving "Bullitt, Carroll, Henry, Jefferson, Nelson, Oldham, Spencer, Shelby, Trimble" (a third Region 8 post, for Bullitt and Jefferson, is listed vacant). The representatives help veterans and families file VA and state claims at no charge; call to set a meeting place. The county's part. Nelson County's own government runs no veterans office: the Fiscal Court's site and the 2025-2026 minutes name none. The county's veteran places are the new county Veterans Park in Bardstown and, under discussion since March 2026, a possible Veterans Connect Center in the county-owned former barber shop beside it (see the Fiscal Court entry). What the help is. Free claims help with VA compensation, pension, survivor and burial benefits and the State's own programmes; see the Kentucky entries.
