The court's page: "The Veterans Treatment Court (VTC) is a specialized program designed exclusively for veterans, recognizing participants unique needs. Our community-based approach prioritizes treatment and supervision over incarceration, creating safer outcomes for everyone. This collaborative program unites judges, attorneys, probation officers, district attorneys, and treatment providers in a single mission: participant success. VTC focuses on addressing the root behaviors that led to legal involvement while supporting recovery and promoting self-sufficiency. The VTC provides structured guidance, encouragement, accountability, and incentives as participants work toward individualized goals." How to ask. The page links the VTC Flyer and the VTC Handbook, which carry the program's rules; a defence lawyer can raise a referral. The Oregon Judicial Department's list names a veterans treatment court among Multnomah's adult drug, DUII and mental health courts.
