Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The county's Veterans' Services page states the offer plainly: "We provide benefits information, assistance and advocacy to all who have served and their families." The service is offered by the Department of County Human Services through its Aging, Disability & Veterans Services division, and the office asks veterans to contact it for help accessing benefits and other resources, or to refer a veteran or surviving spouse for services. Getting help: schedule an appointment with a Veterans Service Officer by phone at 503-988-8387, or email [email protected]. The page points veterans in crisis to the Veterans Crisis Line, 24/7 support by call or text. The county also maintains a Multnomah County Veterans Task Force and a Veterans Community Covenant, both linked from the service page, alongside its own guides to state and federal benefits. The State entry on Oregon's disabled veteran property tax exemption (ORS 307.250) describes the exemption itself; in Multnomah County the Assessment, Recording & Taxation division's property tax pages are where a veteran's account sits.
