Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The fee table. The Clerk & Recorder's General Recording Fees page prices the recording list - documents of any page count $43.00 under C.R.S. 30-1-103(1) and 30-10-421, the documentary fee, plats, marriage and civil-union licences, mining documents, UCC forms - and carries one line at no charge: under "Military Discharge Records", "DD214 C.R.S. 28-5-101 | No Charge". Colorado has no statewide free-recording statute for discharges (see the Colorado entries), so the county's own no-charge line is the county's price; C.R.S. 28-5-101 authorizes the clerk to keep the recorded discharge and restrict its inspection. The office. Recording Supervisor Kim Bryning, [email protected]; the Clerk & Recorder's office at 317 South 2nd Street, Montrose, CO 81401; 970-249-3362 Ext. 2, fax 970-964-2150; the clerk and recorder is Tressa Guynes. "Documents for recording may be submitted in-person, by mail or e-recording"; submissions must "include a 1 inch top margin and 1/2 inch margin on the sides" and "name the parties involved (Grantor/Grantee)"; "WE DO NOT ALLOW PHOTOGRAPHS OF DOCUMENTS" (C.R.S. 24-72-204). The county's own FAQ sends licence-plate questions (the ten exempt military plates, the DR 2002 application, the DD214 or other discharge documents and the Disabled Veteran plate's VA letter) to the state's dmv.colorado.gov rather than pricing any of it locally.
