Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

Milwaukee County Parks issue the Purple Heart Pass, free to recipients of the Purple Heart. The program has run since 2013 and the county counts over 650 cardholders. The application requires proof: a DD-214 showing the award or the Purple Heart order. The pass covers county parks and golf admission for the holder. The county's parks fee tables carry a second, wider veteran discount: Boerner Botanical Gardens admission is $6 for "Military Veteran or Active Duty" against the $8 Milwaukee-county-resident adult rate, with identification required. No county-wide park sticker discount is published, so ask at the gate.
