Johnson and Commissioners Craig Sullivan, Robert Head, Dale Partin and Jason Williams. What was read. The 46 sets of regular, special and workshop minutes the Court's page posts for September 8, 2025 through October 12, 2026 (most of them scans, OCR'd). Two links carry wrong labels: the February 9, 2026 minutes are listed as "February 9, 2027" and the May 18, 2026 minutes as "March 18, 2026". What the year shows. The consent agenda of the first regular meeting of most months (October 13, November 10 and December 8, 2025 and January 12, February 9, March 9, April 13, May 11, June 8, July 13 and September 14, 2026) includes the "Veterans Service Officer" report, approved with the other monthly reports. On November 10, 2025 the Judge noted that the courthouse would close on Tuesday for Veterans Day, and on May 11, 2026 that May is military appreciation month and that "in Mills County there are roughly 350 veterans". On August 17, 2026 the Court held the budget hearing and approved the proposed 2026-2027 budget with corrections, 4-1, Commissioner Williams voting against; the budget raises the Veteran Services Officer department to $19,825.25 (see mills-tx-veterans-services).
