Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

Every Ohio commission must arrange regular transport to the VA medical centres serving the county (Revised Code 5901.03(H); see the Ohio entry). The Mahoning County commission runs bus service to the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland every weekday except federal holidays; seating is limited and trips are scheduled first come, first seated, so veterans are told to call the office at 330-740-2450 as early as possible. The commission's vans' fuel and parts are reimbursed through the county's monthly journals (1,175.71 dollars for October 2025, 1,019.42 dollars for May 2026). The county's own transit. Youngstown's Western Reserve Transit Authority charges no fares on any of its routes - fixed route, late night, countywide and ADA all-access - so a veteran rides WRTA free like everyone else, and its veterans page gathers the routes and rider guides in one place.
