How the county funds it. The General Fund's "Veteran Coordinator" department (010-420) is $69,340.82 in the FY2027 budget (October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027), adopted September 22, 2026: "Salaries-Veteran Officer" $51,539.49 (FY2026 $54,642.98), retirement $4,989.16, FICA $4,034.58, a mobile phone allowance of $1,200, programs and presentations $1,000, equipment rent $1,200, repairs and maintenance, supplies, dues and travel and training $1,500. An "Emergency Veteran Assistance" line spent $1,897.81 in FY2025 and $682.25 in FY2024 but carries nothing for FY2026 or FY2027; no page says who could draw on it, so ask the office.
