Every Ohio commission must arrange regular transport to the VA medical centres serving the county (Revised Code 5901.03(H); see the Ohio entry). The Lucas County Veterans Service Commission helps veterans get to and from scheduled VA medical appointments; call 419-213-6090 to arrange it. For a veteran already approved for TARPS, TARTA's paratransit service, or for TARTA Flex, the commission can provide trip passes, and it also gives TARTA bus passes. No discharge or rating test is stated for transport beyond the commission's general eligibility.
