Toledo Municipal Court, 555 North Erie Street, Toledo, has run a Veterans Treatment Court since January 2015, certified by the Supreme Court of Ohio; Judge William M. Connelly Jr. presides. Who it serves. Veterans charged with misdemeanours in Toledo Municipal Court who also have mental health or substance use problems. How it works. A programme of about a year of rehabilitation and treatment under the judge's supervision, ending in graduation; the first participants graduated on January 22, 2016. Ask the defence lawyer or the court's probation department about a referral, and the county Veterans Service Commission about benefits help alongside it. Lucas County's Common Pleas Court, which hears felonies, has no certified veterans docket, so a veteran with a felony charge in Lucas County has no veterans court to ask for.
