Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The State framework is in the Arkansas entry on veterans treatment courts. The Fifteenth Judicial Circuit's administrative plan, effective January 1, 2026: "Division 1, of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, which encompasses all criminal cases, shall maintain a Drug Court Program and a Veteran's Court Program for qualified participants." Entry "shall be accessed through designated screening guidelines" and is discretionary, "based upon the individual characteristics of the applicant, the statutory guidelines and acceptance by the presiding judge." Division 1 is held by Circuit Judge Jerry Don Ramey and takes all criminal cases in Morrilton, Paris, Booneville, Waldron, Dardanelle and Danville. Where it runs. The programs are "supported by Arkansas Community Correction with services provided in Booneville, Danville and Morrilton"; the Booneville programs also serve Scott County and the Paris District of Logan County, and the Danville programs the Dardanelle District of Yell County. "Veteran's Court Program participants will also be supported by the Veteran's Administration." Each team is a supervision officer, a counselor and an administrative assistant, with monthly review by the prosecutor, a defense attorney, the Community Correction staff and a VA representative. How to ask. The plan names no coordinator or phone. A defendant's attorney asks the prosecutor and the court about screening; the Circuit Clerk of the county where the case is filed (Logan: April Hice, 479-963-2164 Paris, 479-675-2894 Booneville; Yell: the Circuit and County Clerk, (479) 495-4850 Danville, (479) 229-4404 Dardanelle; Scott: the Circuit Clerk, (479) 637-2642 Waldron) can say when the court sits. The Judiciary's 2022 veterans treatment court map shades Logan, Conway and Yell, not Scott, but the plan names Scott among the court's counties.
