Its service officers counsel veterans, dependents and survivors on VA and other benefits and prepare the applications: compensation and pension, aid and attendance, survivors' and burial benefits, appeals, and education and health benefits. Appointments only. The office is at 2440 Thompson Street, Fort Myers 33901. Book Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 239-533-8381 or [email protected]. Outreach days, by appointment: Beacon of Hope, Pine Island, on the first Wednesday of the month (239-283-5123); East Lee County Regional Library on the second Friday; and Lake Kennedy Community Center on the third Friday. The office's February 2026 brochure explains VA pension with aid and attendance and gives that year's net worth limit, $163,699. Its web page also lists local VA and crisis contacts, including the homeless veterans walk-in clinic at 2489 Diplomat Parkway, Cape Coral.
