Le Flore County Clerk: No Discharge Line Published - 72 O.S. 22 Carries the Free Recording

The Le Flore County Clerk (Kelli Ford) serves as register of deeds; her records are searchable on OKCountyRecords.com, whose Cloudflare answers no automated fetch, and no fee schedule or discharge line is published anywhere the county posts, so the free DD-214 recording and certified copies are 72 O.S. 22 and the confidentiality 19 O.S. 270 - carried by the State entry.

Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The office. The Assessor's Links page names the county's record offices: "LeFlore County Clerk - Kelli Ford" (records on OKCountyRecords.com, the KellPro land-records host) and "LeFlore County Court Clerk - Mindy White". The Assessor's contact block (100 S. Broadway, Suite A, Poteau; 918-647-3652) carries the courthouse's number, and the County Clerk's own line is reached there at ext. 2250 and after. The missing line. No page the county publishes names a military-discharge charge, and no fee schedule is posted: the county has no general website, the Clerk's records land on OKCountyRecords.com, and that site's Cloudflare answers every automated fetch with a block page (the county's meeting records sit behind the same wall - the gap goes to docs/COUNTY-REVISIT.md). Oklahoma's Title 72, section 22 requires the county clerk to record discharge papers "without charge" and furnish certified copies "without charge", and section 270 of Title 19 keeps the recorded discharge confidential - both are carried by the State entry, which also notes the November 1, 2026 change adding grandchildren to the authorized parties. A veteran asked to pay cites 72 O.S. 22.
