Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

Laramie County has no veterans service office of its own on its site. The claims route the state publishes runs through the Wyoming Veterans Commission, whose page encourages Wyoming veterans to "meet with one of our VSOs to learn about federal and state veterans' benefits, health care, VA disability, and pension claims." Two State Veteran Service Officer lines cover Laramie County, both from the Commission's Cheyenne office at 5800 Central Ave., Cheyenne, WY 82009: the officer for Goshen and Laramie Counties at 307-256-1778, and the officer for Platte and Laramie Counties at 307-274-7747. A Laramie County veteran can call either; the Commission's list is the authoritative assignment. The county's other veteran-facing function is the County Assessor's administration of the veteran property tax exemption, which is its own entry above. The county's Recovery Courts - Drug Court, DUI Court and Mental Health Diversion Court - name no veterans track, so the county file carries no veterans docket entry.
