LakeXpress Half Fare for Veterans
Lake County's LakeXpress buses carry veterans at half fare, 50 cents instead of $1 a ride, and sell them every pass at half price, on showing a DD-214.

LakeXpress, run by the county's Transit Division, charges $1 a one-way trip, with half-price fares for "Veterans with valid DD214 card", among other groups. Passes are half price too: the $3 daily pass, the $8 ten-ride pass and the $30 thirty-day pass. Show proof on boarding; the discount is chosen at checkout for passes bought online, which are mailed.
