Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

Klamath County Community Development issues a Veteran Recognition Card - a county-issued ID card for veterans who are participants of the Klamath County Veterans Recognition Program - and honors it in its fee schedule: "Our Planning, Building, and Onsite departments offer a 10% discount to anyone with a veteran's recognition card." What the discount reaches. Planning: Site Plan Review (LUCS) for the primary residence or an accessory structure where the property owner is a qualified participant. On-Site: residential site evaluations and related work. The page states the limits: the discount is only for property owned and occupied by the participating veteran; it does not include multiple properties owned by the veteran used as rentals or homes built for the purpose of selling. How to use it. A veteran need not be present: an authorized agent can present a copy of the card and verify the owner information match. The card application and return instructions are linked from the page.
