Where. Two offices, both weekdays 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Cleburne office is in the Johnson County Courthouse, 2 N. The officers are James Sedivy and Jenny Hendricks in Cleburne and Benjamin Layton and Anthony Johnson in Burleson. Training. The officers keep their accreditation current: the county's bill runs show all four attending a Texas Veterans Commission advanced training course in Lewisville in November 2025, and the 2026 annual dues of the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers for Layton and Sedivy. How it is funded. The county's auditor's reports carry the office as department 4050, with a fiscal 2026 budget of $369,983 - $356,983 in salaries and benefits for the four officers and $13,000 in operating expenditures, unchanged for 2027. A separate county fund, 0895 "Veterans Service - Juror Donations", collects jurors' donated fees (about $2,960 in fiscal 2026 through August) and adds $5,000 of operating budget. The Court's only veteran act in the year to August 2026 was ceremonial: a November 10, 2025 proclamation, "Honor Veterans in Johnson County", presented with Marty Peters of the American Legion Auxiliary. News. The office's news page points veterans at the VA's PACT Act material.
