Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The record. The Commissioners meet in public session most Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. at the Courthouse, 223 Penn Street, Huntingdon (the board is Scott Walls, Jeff Thomas and Patrick Reeder, at the Bailey Building, 233 Penn Street, 814-643-3091); the Salary Board meets first Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. The county's meeting-minutes archive posts every 2025 set and the agendas archive the same; the 2026 record is the February 10 and October 13, 2026 minutes and the October 27, 2026 agenda - the 2026 agendas and minutes are otherwise not posted (see docs/COUNTY-REVISIT.md). The standing item. Each set of minutes carries, among the report items, a "Veteran's Burial Allowances" line the board votes with the rest of the reports; the counts in the window's sets read by OCR: October 7, 2025 - "There were no Veteran's Burial Allowances."; October 14, 2025 - "There was 1 Veteran's Burial Allowances."; October 21, 2025 - three; October 28, 2025 - three; November 18, 2025 - zero; December 2, 2025 - zero; December 9, 2025 - zero; December 16, 2025 - five; December 23, 2025 - zero; December 30, 2025 - "There were no Veteran's Burial Allowances."; February 10, 2026 - two; October 13, 2026 - "There were 0 Veteran Burial Allowances". The item is the board's record of the county burial benefit paid through the Veterans Affairs office (the $250 cap is on the office's application; see the veterans-affairs entry) under 16 Pa.C.S. Chapter 155 (the State entry). No other veteran item. The window's minutes carry no Operation Green Light or POW/MIA proclamation, no veterans-office hiring or wage item, and no veteran budget line - the county posts no budget documents on its site, so the office's line is not on the record read. No veteran benefit was adopted, narrowed or repealed.
