Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The court's own records. The March 24, 2026 meeting's posted record carries item 5: "Present Proclamation to designate March 29, 2026 as Welcome Home Vietnam Veteran's Day." The May 12, 2026 meeting's posted record carries special presentations item 1: "Present Proclamation to designate May 25, 2026, as 'A Day to Honor Our Fallen Military Heroes'." Both files are on the court's Documents-On-Demand board (hoodcountytx.documents-on-demand.com), which answers a Cloudflare challenge to every automated reader and was read in a visible Chrome window; the board's Minutes folders for the same meetings were downloaded with the agendas (91 files of the October 2025 to October 2026 window read whole) and no other veteran item appears in the year. The court's regular meetings are the second and fourth Tuesday; the judge is Ron Massingill and the commissioners are Kevin Andrews, Jack Wilson (Pct. 1), Dave Eagle (Pct. 2) and Nannette Samuelson (Pct. 3), with Pct. 4 listed on the minutes' caption. No parks or county-facility veteran rate is published by the county, and its Tax Assessor/Collector page names no veteran exemption practice of its own.
