Herkimer County Clerk: "Return the Favor" Veteran Discount Card

The County Clerk's page carries "Return the Favor" among its programmes, at 109 Mary Street, Suite 1111, Herkimer, NY 13350-1998, with the merchant list and a merchant application on the page; for further information or comments, contact the Clerk's Office at (315) 867-1129. The rules the page prints: "Cardholder must present photo ID card to receive discount. Discount is applicable for the cardholder only. RETURN THE FAVOR discount is not to be combined with any other discounts, sales or offers. Discounts may exclude certain merchandise or services. Discounts may change or cease at any time at the discretion of the participating merchant." The Clerk. Jennifer M. DeMetro is the County Clerk (the Legislature adopted her 2025 annual report on March 18, 2026). The office also keeps the DMV offices in Herkimer and Old Forge, records documents and offers the IQS online record search, whose indexing search is free and whose images have been paywalled since March 1, 2025 under the Clerk's deed-fraud protections, with a free fraud-alert email service.
