Henry County Parks and Recreation Veteran Rates

Henry County Parks and Recreation says veterans get discounts at all its facilities. At the Aquatic Center a veteran pays $30 a year for admission as a county resident or $60 otherwise, against $10 a visit for other adults, and the Kensley Grace Waterpark charges veterans $10 a day ($20 for non-residents) against $25.

Henry County's Parks and Recreation veterans page: "Veterans are eligible for discounts at all Henry County Parks and Recreation facilities, including the Aquatic Center." Aquatic Center, 1177 Henry Parkway Connector, McDonough (770-288-7665). The 2026 rates list "Seniors (55+) and Veterans" at $30 a year for county residents and $60 for others, for admission to the aquatic centre; adults otherwise pay $10 a visit ($15 for non-residents) or $200 for an annual membership. Both facilities are cashless. Kensley Grace Waterpark. Seniors and veterans pay $10 a day ($20 for non-residents), against $25 ($35) general admission, and the ticket includes the Aquatic Center. The waterpark reopens on Memorial Day weekend 2027. The rate pages do not say what proof is asked; bring a DD-214, a veteran ID card or a driver's license with the veteran designation. The county's other facility rental pages do not print a veteran rate.
