Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The county's Veterans Services page links a "VET SERVICES NOW - Assistance Program" flyer. The flyer: "Administered by Community Services of Northeast Texas, Inc.", services available for veterans are utility assistance, rent assistance, mortgage assistance, job readiness training, case management, dental assistance, auto fuel assistance and a "Veteran's Free Taxi". "To apply for services, call 903-756-5596 or visit www.vetservicesnow.org." The flyer records that "This program is supported by a grant from the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans' Assistance." The flyer carries no date and is hosted on the county's former domain (co.harrison.tx.us); the programme's own domain, vetservicesnow.org, did not resolve when read on 2026-10-25, so a veteran should call 903-756-5596 (Community Services of Northeast Texas) rather than rely on the site.
