What the help is. Free, accredited help with VA claims - service-connected disability compensation, nonservice-connected pension, VA health care, education and vocational rehabilitation, military records and the county fund's own application - for Franklin County veterans and their family members; the policy adds that the VSO helps "regardless of whether the individual seeking assistance meets the requirements for assistance from the Veterans' Assistance Fund." The Center also houses the county's veteran outreach; see the federal entries for VA care.
