Rabbittransit runs Franklin County's free veterans shuttle to the Hagerstown VA Clinic and the Martinsburg VA Medical Center from Chambersburg and Greencastle every Wednesday, reserved by 1:30 p.m. the day before on 1-800-632-9063 option 3, on State human services money the county administers.

Franklin County does not run its own shuttle; it buys seats on rabbittransit. The county's flyer and the Veterans Services page describe the service: free rides for county veterans to the Hagerstown VA Clinic and the Martinsburg VA Hospital, from Chambersburg and Greencastle, every Wednesday. Veterans complete an application on the Franklin County page of the rabbittransit site; reservations go in by 1:30 p.m. the day before the appointment, by phone at 1-800-632-9063 (option 3) or online for riders already registered. The money behind it is the same State funding the Pennsylvania entries describe: the county's Human Services Development Fund has carried a Veterans Transportation Program line - $20,000 voted by the Block Grant committee for 2024-2025, and veterans' transportation named among the services supported from 2025-2026 retained revenue - with the county's contribution the administration and the contract.
