Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

Fluvanna County has no veterans service office of its own; the county's Veterans Services page arranges the state's instead. A representative of the Virginia Department of Veterans Services visits Fluvanna on the first Wednesday of every month, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the Fluvanna County Parks and Recreation Center, 5725 James Madison Highway. The location is by appointment only, booked through Pamela Zirkle or Jeannette Flint at (434) 295-2782. Veterans who need a claim worked sooner can use the DVS Charlottesville benefits office at 1430 Rolkin Court, Suite 202 (434-529-6431), open Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with veterans served 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and the office closed to the public on the last business day of each month. Claims help is a service, not a benefit; the county page adds that links to outside organizations are not endorsements.
