Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

Two health-care services for veterans came to Eureka County through the county's own buildings and officers, and the Board's minutes record both. The van. The Board's July 21, 2026 minutes record the commissioner report: "the Eureka Senior Center had a new front door installed. On Friday July 24s from I lam to 4pm there will be a veterans evaluation service van at the Eureka Senior Center" - the claim-exam van that takes VA evaluation appointments in a county with no VA clinic, hosted at the county's Senior Center (the same item appears on the September 1, 2026 agenda, recording the July visit for the record). Operation Recovery. The Board's May 19, 2026 minutes record "Chairman Sewell also is working with Vitality on a grant called Operation Recovery for veterans, their parents, spouses and children dealing with an opioid disorder", with the county hosting "third Mondays starting in June from 8am to l2:30pm" - Vitality Unlimited's outreach clinics at the county's building, open to veterans and their families. For a veteran in Eureka, both services come to town rather than requiring the drive to Elko or Reno; the Senior Center and the Board's own chairman are the access routes. The claims help itself is the VA's and Vitality's - the county provides the place and the calendar.
