Elko County maintains a Veterans section on its own site - the Veterans Day Parade, whose 2025 edition has its own page, and a local-resources directory that gives the Nevada Department of Veterans Services office on the Great Basin College campus - and the Board proclaimed Veterans Day 2025 by resolution.

Elko County is one of the Nevada counties that keeps veteran content on its own site, and the county's role is the gathering and the signposting. The parade. The county's Veterans section hosts the Veterans Day Parade, with a page for the 2025 Annual Veterans Day Parade and gallery pages for parades back to 2005 ("Pictures from 2005-2009" through "2020 - 2024"). The Board's proclamation of the day is on the record too: the November 5, 2025 Board agenda carried "Proclamation No. 2025-14, Elko County Veterans Day - Service to Our Nation". The directory. The county's local-resources page (read 2026-10-26) lists the services a rural veteran needs with addresses and phones, and the veteran line is the Nevada Department of Veterans Services' Elko office: "Veteran Services Office - Nevada Department of Veteran Services - Elko, 1500 College Parkway, McMullen Hall Room 114, Elko, Nevada 89801, Phone: 775-777-1000" - on the Great Basin College campus. The same page lists the VA's Elko Outreach Clinic at 2719 Argent Ave. #9, (775) 738-0188 or (800) 613-4012 ext. 6443, Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the county's Social Services rent and utilities help at 540 Court Street, Suite 105, (775) 738-4375. A county page also introduces NVVetNet, the State's veteran one-stop site launched in 2016. The claims help itself is the State's free service, already carried by the Nevada entries; the county's work is keeping the addresses current and the parade marching.
