Duplin County Board of Commissioners: the Veterans Year in the Record

The Board's window record is not reachable: the Agenda Center carries BOCC agendas only through May 2025 and the county's BOCC minutes archive (historical.courthousecomputersystems.com/Commissioner) answers a Cloudflare 403 to every automated fetch, so no minutes or agendas of the window could be read; the board meets 6 p.m. the first Monday (third Mondays in May and June too) and no veteran item is recorded.

Also called: Board of Commissioners, BOCC, minutes, Agenda Center, courthousecomputersystems, Cloudflare, Jaime Carr, Dexter Edwards, Elwood Garner, Kenansville, Kenansville, Wallace, Warsaw, Rose Hill, Beulaville, Magnolia, Faison, Greenevers, Teachey, Bowdens, Chinquapin.

For: Veteran or service member.

Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The record. The county's Agendas & Minutes page links the "BOCC Meeting Minutes Archive" at historical.courthousecomputersystems.com/Commissioner; that host answers a Cloudflare challenge (403) to curl, WebFetch and headed fetches alike, as does the Register of Deeds' records host on the same platform. The county's own Agenda Center (duplinnc.gov/agendacenter) carries Board of County Commissioners agendas only through May 2025 - its year selector lists no 2026 - and no minutes. The Commissioners page (Chair Dexter B. Edwards, Vice-Chair Elwood Garner, Justin Edwards, Jesse L. Dowe, III, Wayne E. Branch; Clerk to the Board Jaime Carr) publishes the meeting schedule - "6 pm 1st Monday of every month, except for the months of May and June, where the Board will also meet on the 3rd Mondays of those months" - and links to the same archive. So no agenda or minute of the window could be read at the sweep: whether the Board discussed a veterans matter in the year is not published anywhere the reading address can reach, and the gap goes to docs/COUNTY-REVISIT.md. The minutes themselves are public records held by the Clerk to the Board at 224 Seminary Street, Kenansville (910-296-2104). No benefit was adopted, narrowed or repealed is recorded.
