Currituck County's Master Fee Schedule, under Tourism, prices the Legacy Tours of the Whalehead museum in Corolla: "Ages 0-5 No Charge", "Ages 6-12 $5.00", "Ages 13-54 $7.00", "Ages 55+ $5.00", "Active Military $5.00", "Wounded Warrior No Charge", with group rates of $3 a student and $5 an adult beside a no-charge coordinator or bus driver. The schedule also prices the county's park rentals, where Veterans Memorial Park carries the same $200-a-day facility rate as the other parks - a rental price, not a veteran discount. What the tours are. Whalehead is the county-owned 1920s art-nouveau residence at Corolla that the county's Travel & Tourism programme operates as a heritage site; the Legacy Tours are its guided tours.
