Cumberland County Free Veteran Shuttle to the Lebanon VA Medical Center

Cumberland County and rabbittransit run a free weekday shuttle for county veterans from the Cumberland County VA Clinic in Mechanicsburg to the Lebanon VA Medical Center, leaving at 7 a.m. and returning at 12:30 p.m., with door-to-door rides for some. Reserve by 1:30 p.m. the day before.

The commissioners worked with rabbittransit to set up a free shuttle for Cumberland County veterans to the Lebanon VA Medical Center. It leaves the Cumberland County VA Clinic, 5070 Ritter Road, Mechanicsburg, at 7 a.m., reaches Lebanon at 8:45, leaves Lebanon at 12:30 p.m. and is back in Mechanicsburg at 2:15, Monday to Friday. Escorts may ride, and every vehicle is accessible. How to use it. First complete rabbittransit's veterans application, which decides which services a veteran qualifies for; some get door-to-door rides. Then reserve by 1:30 p.m. the day before (Friday for Monday) at 1-800-632-9063, option 3, or online through PennDOT's Find My Ride with a Shared Ride ID. rabbittransit also offers Cumberland County veterans free rides to the Cumberland County VA clinic, and an employment programme with bus passes for job interviews and the first months of a new job.
