Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The exemption is the State's; see the Oklahoma entries. Article X, section 8E of the Oklahoma Constitution exempts the full fair cash value of the homestead of a veteran rated 100% permanently disabled from service, or of the surviving spouse, and the application is the Tax Commission's Form 998 with VA's letter; the county's lost revenue comes back to it on Form 969, the counties' reimbursement claim. What the county did. The Board of County Commissioners' minutes of February 9, 2026, Item #7: "Motion was made by Whitehouse and seconded by Moore to sign Form 969 reimbursement for 100% Disabled American Veterans, in amount of $325,385.00, for 2025. Haley Anderson, Assessor stated this is the first year that the County Assessor qualified for reimbursement." The agenda had carried it as "Discussion and possible action to consider signing form 969 for reimbursement for 100% Disabled American Veterans - Haley Anderson, Assessor." The vote was unanimous (Chairman Newt Stephens, Commissioner Zac Moore, Commissioner Jarrod Whitehouse). The $325,385.00 is the county's 2025 reimbursement for the exempted value on its roll - a measure of how much Creek County homestead the exemption removes. Where and who. Creek County Assessor Haley Anderson (elected November 2022), First Deputy Robin Whitehouse; (918) 224-4508; the county courthouse, 317 E. Lee Avenue, Sapulpa, OK 74066. The Assessor's own page describes the office's ad-valorem duties and publishes no exemption rules of its own - a veteran applying brings the VA's letter on Form 998 and the State entries carry the amounts and deadlines. The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs' Northeast Team serves the county for claims help (regional manager Brian Gibson, (918) 348-4901); the department lists no Creek County office of its own.
