Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The Court. The Coleman County Commissioners Court meets at 9:00 a.m. on the second and fourth Mondays in the 42nd District Court Courtroom on the second floor of the Coleman County Courthouse, 100 W. Live Oak Street, Coleman. It sits as County Judge Billy Bledsoe (325-625-4218) and Commissioners Matt Henderson, Jim Rice, Scotty Lawrence and Alan Davis. What was read. The 29 agendas and minutes the agenda widget lists for January 12 through October 26, 2026 (six of them minutes, one of which, July 13, has a broken link) and the eight agendas of September 8 through December 22, 2025 on the Past Agendas page; the Commissioners Court Minutes page answers 403, so most of the year's minutes were not read. What the year shows. No agenda or minutes of the year names veterans, the veterans office or Brown County's officer. The September 14, 2026 agenda carries the public hearing on and the adoption of "the Proposed Budget for October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027" and a tax rate of $0.7659; the proposed budget (printed August 17, 2026) keeps department 010-405, "Veterans Service Off", at nothing, as it has been since at least 2024. The county's veterans are sent to Brown County's office (see coleman-tx-veterans-services).
