For: Veteran or service member.

Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The Recorder's fee page lists "Military discharge per ARS Section 11-465: No charge". Other copies of records are $1 a page and $3 to certify each document. What the page leaves out. ARS 11-465 also keeps a recorded discharge out of public view, giving access only to a federal official, the claimant, or the claimant's guardian, attorney or personal representative for a federal benefit claim, and ARS 39-122 makes a certified copy free when it is for a VA or other federal benefit claim; see the Arizona entry. Say so when asking for a copy for a claim.
