Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The Michigan Veterans Trust Fund's emergency grants are a State fund with a county committee in every county; the State entries carry its statutory basis and the statewide picture. Clinton County's page for the committee says its purpose "is to help war-time veterans with financial help", that the committee consists of five or six members, and that its members are nominated by veterans' service organizations. The county's committee page publishes no application route of its own; the county's services run through the Ingham County agreement (its own entry), and the clerk's office keeps DD-214s (MCL 35.32; its own entry). Ask the county's Veterans Affairs contacts for the MVTF application.
