The unified government's own budget record. The April 21, 2026 agenda's Probation Services item asks the Mayor and Commission to "continue current funding and operation of DUI Court, Felony Drug Court, Family Treatment Court, Treatment and Accountability Court, and Veterans Court", and the staff report lists the dockets with their judges: "Treatment and Accountability Court, Superior Court, directed by Hon. Eric W. Norris; Veterans Court, Superior Court, directed by Hon. H. Patrick Haggard; DUI/Drug Court, State Court, directed by Hon. Charles E. Auslander; and Family Treatment Court, Juvenile Court, directed by Hon. Amanda Trimble", with the Felony Drug Court before Judge Lawton E. Stephens. The same item authorises "execution of the Advantage Behavioral Health Systems Contract (ABHS); This contract is for 1 year and pays ABHS an amount not to exceed $2,000 per month for the non-billable services (attend staffing, acts as a Court liaison, attend Court ...)". The programme. The budget book's Probation Services description (January 6, 2026 agenda): "Veterans Court was established in 2013 and integrates alcohol/drug and/or mental health treatment specific to veterans with effective judicial case management. Using a multi-phase approach similar to the other accountability courts, eligible participants are promptly placed into the program and receive assistance accessing existing services for veterans, specialized treatment and rehabilitation services, and frequent alcohol and drug tests. Typically, veteran mentors assist with the programs." The department's authorized-positions chart names a "Veterans Court Coordinator"; Probation Services "provides offender management for Felony Drug Court, Treatment and Accountability Court, Veterans Court, DUI/Drug Court, and the Solicitor's Pretrial Intervention Program", 40 authorized positions including probation. The statute is O.C.G.A. 15-1-17; see the Georgia entry. The county publishes no eligibility rules, phase schedule or handbook for the veterans docket; the Superior Court's veterans division and the Probation Services office are the route. The Mayor and Commission (Mayor Kelly Girtz's body of ten district commissioners, whose motions in the year's records name Commissioners Hamby, Wright, Davenport, Thornton and Link) funds the courts through the unified budget.
