Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The Clark County Council amended the County Code in July 2022 to exempt Washington State Parks Lifetime Disabled Veteran Pass holders from the daily parking fee at the four county regional parks that charge one: Frenchman's Bar, Lewisville, Salmon Creek Regional Park/Klineline Pond and Vancouver Lake. The exemption took effect July 29, 2022. State Parks issues the pass to Washington residents with a service-connected rating of 30% or more; see the Washington entry. The fee for everyone else is $5 a day in 2026, or $40 for a calendar-year county pass, and parking without paying risks a $40 fine under County Code 9.05.260. To use the exemption, show the pass to park staff on entering and display it in the parked vehicle; otherwise the daily fee is charged. No other agency's pass, the Discover Pass included, is accepted at these parks.
