The County Council's minutes show the court run on a Veterans Court grant fund: on January 5, 2026 the Council moved $90,747 of it from contract services to a probation officer's salary so the court could employ the officer directly, and on October 14, 2025 it raised the court's probation officer and coordinator post to $70,570.40.
