Where it applies

- Chesterfield County, VACounty
Chesterfield runs two treatment courts, a Recovery Court and a Veterans Treatment Docket, through several county departments that connect participants with treatment and services. The Virginia courts' May 2026 directory lists the veterans docket in the Chesterfield Circuit Court, sitting every other Thursday at 2:00 p.m., with a county coordinator as the contact. The county's veterans resources page links news on its veteran mentor program.
It is not a tax break or a benefit a veteran applies for outside a criminal case. A veteran with no case in the Chesterfield Circuit Court has no use for it.
